Last night when I went to bed around 10pm the temperature outside was 88 (F) with a heat inext of 96 (F). During the evening I'd been mostly comfortable between using the ceiling fans and a floor fan. However, when I walked into my bedroom and its humid stuffiness, I thought "ugh."
Thank goodness for portable air conditioners. I quickly set it up, cranked its thermostat down to 68 (F), and by time I pulled the covers up to my nose it was already cooling the bedroom.
This morning I woke to thunderstorms, torrential rains, and flash flood warnings via my iPhone. This was at 4am. Now it is 6:30am and the thunderstorms and heavy rains continue. CJ is not liking the thunder and lightning today for some reason...he is staying close to me for "protection."
Lastly...regarding the weather...I am laughing for the weather app on my iPhone tells me that this morning is clear. HUH?
And so the "life of the retired" continues. For some reason I do not seem to be making much headway on Content Writing. I know that it is something I really want to do but there is a lack of confidence on my part that I can actually do it. My thought this morning is...dive into it and the worse that can happen is you will be rejected.
But at least you've tried...
