This is an extraordinary recipe. I remember the first time I made it and the mess I made on the stove with all of the boiling, reducing, frying, etc. Yet, I can tell you...it was well worth the clean-up...and I made this recipe again and again. Since Valentine's Day is close at hand I was thinking this might be a very special thing to make for that special dinner.
