- 2 to 2 1/2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1 onion chopped
- 10 3/4-oz can of cream of mushroom soup
- 3 tablespoons dry onion soup mix
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
- Cover. Cook on low 7 - 8 hours
- Serve over hot cooked rice
- Makes about 6 servings
