Even though it is only the end of July the types of flowers that make me think of autumn are now blooming. A gentle reminder that the year is slipping away...
Taking the ferry to Sausalito...
Even though I live here...and I've lived here long enough to be called a "native", this very touristy thing is still one of my favorite things to do. It is the combination of fresh sea air, beautiful views of the city and the bay, and lastly a leisurely lunch in Sausalito before returning home by ferry...satiated and delightfully tired from a full day of fun and laughter.
One of my simple little joys is living in this area and being able to enjoy the beauty during an early morning walk...enjoying the sun as it crests the coastal mountains and watching its light spread...
The year of this particular birthday it was one flamingly hilarious birthday cake for they did put on it a candle for each year of my life. I wonder if this year they would dare to do the same??? LOL I think not!
This picture was taken the same Thanksgiving afternoon/evening as the picture that was posted yesterday...except at a slightly earlier time.
A Thanksgiving Day sunset...
Family, friends and home are the treasures that bring me the most pleasure. Through my blog, I wish to share part of my life and heart with readers.
