So the years have flown by and now I am an old man living in the same area. The older I get, the more I want to learn of my heritage. So I've been intrigued by this cemetery and did find this information:
"Heritage and history are both very important to the people of Luck. The historic West Denmark settlement is the site for the first cooperative creamery in the United States, and has one of the oldest Danish Lutheran congregations in the country. To celebrate our heritage, the West Denmark Church traditionally holds an annual Æbleskiverdinner the first Saturday in May. We also have an impressive museum, operated by the Luck Area Historical Society, exclusively built to take you back in time and learn Luck’s rich history in the farming and wood products industry. Visit today and find out why we are still considered the 'Yo-Yo Capital of the World'."
BTW, I love Æbleskivers!
