There is something wonderful about San Francisco in the rain. In fact almost 36 years ago on a rainy day, walking down a hill in the Financial District...in the rain...was when I made my decision to move here.
Late October when I was at my house in Northwestern Wisconsin, every view from each and every window was filled with the glorious color that is fall. On this rainy California Sunday, I find myself thinking of that wonderful time at my house.
When I was growing up, I used to work at this resort during the summer cleaning boats and mowing grass. It was a beautiful place of rustic cabins with knotty pine interiors. I wonder what it is like now?
