"Autumn arrives in early morning, but spring at the close of a winter day." ~ Elizabeth Bowen10/19/2017

My favorite Chinese restaurant on the west coast (Pacifica, CA) is Tam's. Since moving to Wisconsin I have missed their good food so much. For so many years eating there whether it be at the restaurant or doing take-out, it was a staple of my life. I swear to this day that their hot & sour soup has healing powers...a winter cold happening and their hot & sour soup would be the perfect antidote.
Than you Tam's for all of the good memories of my life. E'nuff! Is it not nice to have a moment of reflection early in the morning as the sunlight begins to stream through the windows and touch everything with its glow? Especially when it is fall the sunlight has its own special golden hue?
As you who have followed this blog might know, it has been a tough transition for me in my move from San Francisco to a small town in Northwestern Wisconsin. But I have arrived home! Every ounce of my being declares that I am at home. So this morning as the sun rose and as I sat on the couch witnessing the start of a new day...my heart was overflowing with gratitude for this moment, for this day, for this new start in life. And I quote Unity's Daily Word for this day: "I do not dwell on what seems to be. Instead, I focus on what truly is: I am a child of God and indwelling, infinite love is always with me." E'nuff! |
