The fog is surrounding us with its soft drizzly cocoon, the windows are shut, our home is warm and comfortable...it is a good Sunday afternoon for a kitty slumber.

The two most important things to CJ when I get home in the evening are: 1) My picking him up and carrying him through our home so he can look out each and every window. 2) Being fed. However, sometimes being fed is superseded by him just want to be close to me...so now he is on this stool which is close to my shoulder as I am typing this...and his food is momentarily forgotten.
There was a time in my life when nothing...and I mean nothing...would have kept me home on a Friday night. Then years passed and my patterns changed so that the best feeling in the world was to get home on a Friday night and lock the door (lock out the world and the work week) and settle in with a fire in the fireplace and a glass of wine. Last night was no different. I got home, put dinner in the oven, CJ had his dinner, and by 7:30pm we were both dozing! LOL

My little scamp...my little buddy...my family...CJ is all of these. He is also so dang photogenic! (365 days of CJ)
This past weekend I was afflicted with a nagging sinus infection. Saturday afternoon I took the doctor prescribed meds, pulled the comforter up over me, and settle back on the couch for an afternoon snooze. CJ joined me in the afternoon snooze for he loves this comforter...and this pic is of his little face when I woke up.
